On 29 September in the Brest regional base "Bakaleya" was crowded: at the invitation of the administration and trade union committee came to visit former employees of the enterprise, labor veterans to meet with the general director Andrei Perchenko, trade union asset and each other.
Such meetings are traditionally held on the eve of the Day of the Elderly, which is celebrated in Belarus on 1 October.
"The event was held in a warm, hearty atmosphere", - notes Lyudmila Yevgenyevna Kuriga, chairman of the Veterans' Council, worked in the organization for 28 years, head of the Veterans' Council of the organization since 2004" (202 people are registered in the veterans' organization).
"We were interested to learn the news of the enterprise, to meet with the management, with our colleagues, to remember the past, to share our news and to have a heart to talk over a cup of tea. Thank you for inviting us."
He was especially pleased with the fact that with the beginning of the autumn fairs pensioners, who have worked for more than 5 years in the Society, will be given help to prepare vegetables for the winter.
In addition, a number of other benefits are provided for veterans of labor on the Bakaleya: the purchase of sanatoriums, the provision of material assistance in case of serious illness, payment of ritual services, discounts in stores of the Company on the discount card and many others.
After the meeting, the trade union committee handed the participants tickets to a concert organized by the Brest regional union association in the Palace of Trade Union Culture and dedicated to people of a wise age.
