Vivanco
Description
The Vivanco winery was founded in 1915 when Pedro Vivanco Gonzalez decided to produce wines from his own grapes. He owned a small vineyard located near the village of Alberite in the Rioja region.
Today Vivanco owns about 300 hectares of vineyards located in the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria and the Ebro River. The soil of the vineyards is clay-limestone. Moderate microclimate favorably affects the uniform ripening of berries. Harvesting is carried out only manually in small boxes of 10 kg to ensure the integrity of the fruit. Each stage of production is strictly controlled by master winemakers for the best quality of the drink.
