Quinta do Portal is a winery located in the mountainous Douro region of northern Portugal. Its history is inextricably linked to the Mansilha family, which has been producing excellent Port wines for more than a century, and the roots of this ancient Douro family can be traced back to the 15th century.
Due to the fact that the company owns its own vineyards, there is a unique opportunity to control the entire process of wine creation, from the vines to the cellars.
Nowadays Quinta do Portal offers the consumer modern dry wines Douro DOC, Moscatel Douro DOC and a wide range of different port wines. A team of professionals, including those responsible for the production of port wines, is responsible for the creation of excellent drinks.
The wines, created from traditional Portuguese grape varieties, have a character of their own and a sophisticated modern style. Quinta do Portal has won several awards for the design of bottles and packaging for its products.
