Kuemmerling
Description
Kuemmerling is a German strong liqueur infused with herbs. Hugo Kuemmerling started producing herbal liqueurs in 1921 in Desbach (Thuringia). In 1938 a secret recipe for Kuemmerling liqueur was created.
This liqueur is now one of the top three in the herbal liqueur category in Germany. The liqueur has invigorating, tonic properties. When producing the liqueur, ethyl alcohol is infused with herbs and aged for a year in oak barrels.
